Matt DuBois

Mastery of Art in Glass Blowing

Born in 1980 and raised in SF, Calif. and Bend, Ore., Matt turned his attention to art at a very early age in painting and wood working and found a love of glass blowing that has become his passion ever since.

In 2001, he continued his education at Eugene Glass School and in 2004 at Pilchuck. While living in Portland, Ore., Matt worked and studied and expanded his knowledge though experience and mentoring with renowned artists from all over the world.

Matt is a well-rounded glass blower with extensive experience in furnace work, torch working, and fusing.

Inspired by nature, Matt spends time in the out of doors in observation and awareness of the relationship of nature and art.
