Cameron Reed

Cameron Reed was born and raised in Naples, FL in 1981. He left Florida in 1999 to live in the mountains of North Carolina. There in 2001 Cameron saw glass melted and manipulated for the first time and instantly fell in love with the material. He immediatly set up a personal flameworking studio and began experimenting. Cameron has since attended flameworking workshops at The Penland School of Crafts in 2005,2007, 2008, and The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass in 2006. He continues to work glass out of his studio in Bakersville, NC. His work can be found in regional galleries, craft events and studio tours.
